The EP-1633 is an electronic distributor for the GM 2.8L and 3.1L V6 engine family used across the mid-1980s through early 1990s GM passenger car lineup -- Buick Skylark, Chevrolet Camaro V6, Pontiac Fiero, Pontiac Firebird V6, Pontiac 6000, and Oldsmobile Calais. The GM 2.8L V6 (173 CID) is one of the most widely installed engines in GM's front-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive mid-size platforms of the era, and the 3.1L V6 (189 CID) replaced it in 1990 in the Camaro and Firebird.
