EP-10TB HEI Distributor Tach Drive for Chevy Corvette V8 (Replaces 1103758)

The EP-10TB is a specialized HEI distributor with an integral mechanical tachometer drive for Chevrolet Corvette applications where the factory tachometer is driven directly from the distributor via a mechanical cable. Corvette C2 and C3 models used a mechanical tachometer drive system rather than the electronic tach signal used in later vehicles, and this mechanical drive is integrated into the distributor housing on the correct side and at the correct location to maintain tachometer function after HEI conversion.

Without a tach drive distributor, Corvette owners converting from points ignition to HEI would lose their factory tachometer function — a serious concern for both concours restorations and practical driving. The EP-10TB preserves the original mechanical tachometer operation while delivering the full HEI performance upgrade: 65,000-volt coil, brass cap terminals, electronic ignition module eliminating points maintenance, and adjustable vacuum advance.
