The EP-TD-52 is a complete TEC OBD1 ignition distributor for the Honda Accord 2.2L for 1992 and 1993 model years, using an external coil configuration. The 1992-1993 Accord represents the first two years of the fifth-generation Accord (CD platform), which received significant updates including the move to a more sophisticated OBD1 EFI management system.

The TD-52 uses an external coil arrangement -- unlike the Civic which integrates the ignition coil inside the distributor housing, the Accord's external coil is mounted separately. This is significant for replacement: the distributor itself does not carry a coil, and coil failure requires a separate repair from the distributor. The TD-52U and TD-59U are the TEC body identifiers for this application.
