The 2BV2 series vacuum pump is known for its small size, compact structure, and direct motor connection. Installation is simple, as it only requires placement on a horizontal surface without the need for a chassis.

Operating on the water ring principle, the impeller of the pump is installed eccentrically within the pump body. When the pump starts, the working liquid forms a concentric liquid ring inside the pump body. The impeller transfers motor power to the liquid ring, causing the liquid ring to pulsate periodically between the impeller vanes. During pulsation, gas is suctioned in through the disk suction inlet and discharged from the disk exhaust vent.
