EP-1635 Electronic Distributor for Chevrolet Astro El Camino 4.3L V6 (Replaces 1103837)

The EP-1635 is a complete electronic distributor for the Chevrolet Astro van and El Camino equipped with the 4.3L V6 TBI engine. The Astro and its GMC Safari twin were the most popular rear-wheel-drive minivans in the US through the late 1980s and 1990s, serving both family transport and light commercial roles. The El Camino, discontinued after 1987, used the 4.3L V6 as its standard engine in its final production year.

The GM 4.3L V6 TBI system in these applications uses a conventional magnetic-pickup distributor that is a robust and reliable design -- but after 30+ years and often very high mileage in service, distributor replacement is a routine maintenance item.
