Working Principle & Core Mechanism

A precise, calculated clearance exists between the screws and between the screws and the casing.

As shown in Figures 1 and 2, a pair of parallel spiral skins ① and ② are arranged inside the handle vacuum pump. ① is right-handed, and ② is left-handed. The two skins rotate synchronously in opposite directions within the pump via a pair of gears ③. There is no friction between the skins and between the skins and the pump body, maintaining a relative gap. Multiple sealed cavities ④ are formed between the two skins and the pump body ⑨, the number of which equals the number of spiral turns of the skins.
When the two skins rotate in the directions shown in the figures, the space of the sealed cavity connected to the intake port increases, and gas is drawn in and pushed to the seepage side. The sealed cavity space on the seepage side gradually decreases during rotation, and the gas is compressed to the seepage port. These sealed cavities "move" regularly from the seepage side of the pump to the seepage side, thus sending the gas out in a swirling flow. The continuous movement of the pump does not change the gas flow direction, thus allowing for the extraction of entrained particles and vapors within a certain range.
During prolonged operation, a suitable amount of coolant needs to be circulated into the jacket of the pump body and side covers to cool the pump and achieve temperature equilibrium.
Since the heat of compression is mainly generated on the spindle side, for sufficient cooling, under most operating conditions, a suitable amount of air mixed with a suitable gas can be introduced into the pump chamber through the compression port ⑩.
Because there is no friction between the rotors, no lubrication is required in the swept volume. This design allows the pump to:
