The EP-CAMS2600 is a complete camshaft synchronizer for the Ford 3.0L Vulcan V6 engine across Ranger, Taurus, Windstar, Mercury Sable, and Mazda B3000 applications -- covering an unusually long production span from 1998 through 2008. The 3.0L Vulcan is one of Ford's most widely installed and longest-lived V6 engines, and the camshaft synchronizer is a documented maintenance item across the entire Vulcan V6 fleet.

OEM F8DZ-12A362-AA is the primary reference covering the 1998 and later Vulcan V6 synchronizer revision. An important note: the Ranger 3.0L Vulcan V6 had a distributor in earlier years (1991-1994) and transitioned to a coil-pack system with camshaft synchronizer from approximately 1995 onward. The EP-CAMS2600 covers the 1998+ revised synchronizer specification that brought the Taurus and Windstar into the same OEM number family.

EP-CAMS2600 ships complete with cam position sensor and timing alignment tool. The Vulcan V6 synchronizer is accessible from the front of the engine and is a straightforward replacement job for any experienced technician.
