The valve consists of a gear motor, sealing element, impellers, and rotor housing with rotating blades. It is capable of continuously discharging powder, small particles, flakes, or fibers based on the differential pressure of the material. This valve finds wide applications in chemical, pharmacy, drying, grains, cement, environmental protection, and power industries.

The airlock valve acts as the material discharger in the material collecting system. The discharge valve is typically installed at the bottom of the dust ash hopper to maintain air leakage connection. It is important to keep the dust height above the rotary discharge valve to prevent air leakage. The impeller rotates, and the dust-free areas on both sides can lead to air leakage. To maintain a certain height, an ssh column is used to keep the hopper partially filled. Ideally, the hopper should be equipped with a material level signal facility and a chain connected to the discharge valve motor.
