1. Introduction:
The Carbon Steel Square Inlet Dust Collector Rotary Airlock Valve, also known as a discharge valve or star discharger, is an important equipment for pneumatic conveying systems and dust removal systems. It is primarily used to continuously discharge material from trippers and dust collectors while maintaining a controlled inner pressure. The valve consists of a gear motor, sealing element, impellers, and rotor housing with rotating blades. It is capable of continuously discharging powder, small particles, flakes, or fibers based on the differential pressure of the material. This valve finds wide applications in chemical, pharmacy, drying, grains, cement, environmental protection, and power industries.

3. Working Principle:
Material falls onto the blades and rotates with them towards the outlet under the airlock valve, allowing continuous discharge. In pneumatic conveying systems, the airlock valve locks the air and supplies material continuously. The low speed of the rotor and the small space prevent reverse airflow, ensuring stable air pressure and regular material discharge. The airlock valve acts as the material discharger in the material collecting system. The discharge valve is typically installed at the bottom of the dust ash hopper to maintain air leakage connection. It is important to keep the dust height above the rotary discharge valve to prevent air leakage. The impeller rotates, and the dust-free areas on both sides can lead to air leakage. To maintain a certain height, an ssh column is used to keep the hopper partially filled. Ideally, the hopper should be equipped with a material level signal facility and a chain connected to the discharge valve motor.

This valve is widely used in the cereal, food, feed, chemical, pharmacy, dust collection, drying, and transportation industries.
