12 'heavy-duty electric brake
The magnets in the back panel have two wires that are directly connected to the trailer wiring. When energized, it magnetizes the brake magnet. The interest is attracted to the surface of the drum. When it comes into contact with the area, friction causes it to rotate, move the actuating arm, and push the brake shoes out of the brake drum. These brake shoes have a particular type of brake pad material that can resist friction-generated heat. When the brake shoes are pressed against the inside of the brake drum, the brake shoes prevent the wheel hub from rotating, thereby preventing the wheel from rotating when in contact with the ground.

How to Select Electric Brakes and Brake Parts
Position the brake so the magnet is at the bottom to determine the right or left brake assembly. On electric brakes, the actuating arm will always bend from the pivot pin towards the magnet, with the left-hand brake twisting to the left and the right-hand brake bending to the right.
When ordering brake assemblies or brake replacement parts, be sure to use the part number and reference number. Both are necessary to ensure timely and accurate completion of your order.
Sometimes, the simplest and most economical way to repair a brake is to replace the entire assembly. By removing the wires and some nuts and bolts, you have all the new parts, saving time, trouble, and cost.
