Precautions and Installation/Maintenance

1. Proper Alignment: Ensure proper alignment between the helical gear rack and the mating gear or pinion for smooth and efficient operation.
2. Lubrication: Apply appropriate lubrication to reduce friction and wear between the gear rack and the mating gear.
3. Regular Inspection: Regularly inspect the gear rack for signs of wear, damage, or misalignment. Replace or repair any worn or damaged components promptly.
4. Cleanliness: Keep the gear rack and mating gear clean from debris, dust, and contaminants to maintain optimal performance.
5. Proper Handling: Handle the gear rack with care to avoid any physical damage or deformation that could affect its functionality.

In order to make the assembly of connected racks smoother, half teeth are added to both ends of the standard rack to facilitate the connection of the lower half teeth of the next rack with the complete teeth. The picture below shows the connection method of two racks. The tooth gauge can accurately control the pitch position.

For the connection of helical racks, the opposite tooth gauge can be used to accurately connect.

1. When connecting the rack, it is recommended to lock the holes on the side of the rack first, and then in the order of the foundation. By assembling the tooth gauge, the pitch position of the rack can be assembled accurately and completely.

2. Finally, lock the rack positioning pins on the two racks; assembly is complete.
