The EP-50-300W employs field-oriented control (FOC) of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. DC bus voltage is converted to three-phase sinusoidal AC using high-frequency PWM. The microcontroller decomposes stator current into torque (q) and flux (d) components, independently regulating speed and torque for smooth, efficient operation from standstill to maximum speed.
