Cast iron welding electrode is a covered welding electrode with a pure nickel core and graphitic coating for cast iron. It provides excellent machinability and crack resistance in the weld seam metal. Both AC and DC can be used for welding.

- Repair welding thin pieces and processing surface of cast iron
- Welding important gray cast iron pieces, such as engine gearboxes, machining tools, guideways, etc.

Diqqət:

1. Welding electrodes must be baked for 1 hour at a temperature of 150°C before welding.
2. It is not recommended for cast iron parts bearing impact stress.
3. For welding detects of small and thin cast iron parts fabricated by low steel, welding electrodes needn't be preheated. For general welded pieces, welding electrodes should be preheated to around 400°C, cool it after welding, and the welding zone may be processed by cutting.
